Position Overview
Princeton University invites applications for the Peter B. Kenen Visiting Fellowship in International Economics for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is a full-time visiting position in the Department of Economics. Fellows will join Princeton’s International Economics Section, enjoy a supportive research environment, and contribute to one of the most respected business school academic careers in the field of economics.
Responsibilities
Fellows will focus on independent research in international economics. Princeton provides office space, research funds, and opportunities to collaborate with faculty and peers. Teaching may be possible if mutually agreed upon, depending on enrollment and approval by the Dean of the Faculty.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Economics and maintain a full-time position at a university or recognized research institution. The fellowship welcomes scholars at all career stages, with selection based on academic standing, research contributions, and potential for impact in the field.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range is $150,000 to $225,000 for the academic year. Final compensation is determined by seniority, experience, and teaching responsibilities, if applicable. Fellows receive research support funds and may combine Princeton support with other sources to replace up to their full salary at their home institution. Eligible employees also gain access to Princeton’s comprehensive benefits program.
