Position Overview
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts invites applications for tenure-track and senior faculty positions in Finance, Accounting, and Applied Economics. These are full-time academic careers in business, beginning July 1, 2026, or as soon thereafter as possible.

Responsibilities
Faculty will:

  • Conduct original, high-impact research in their fields.
  • Teach core and advanced courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Contribute to the academic community through mentoring and collaboration.
  • Engage with global conversations in business education and business school research.

Qualifications

  • A PhD in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field is required by the start date.
  • Evidence of strong research potential or achievement.
  • Commitment to teaching excellence in both foundational and specialized courses.
  • Applications are welcome at the junior and senior levels for Finance and Accounting, and at all levels for Applied Economics.
