About the Faculty Position in Management

The Bang College of Business invites applications for a Faculty Position in Management at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

We are growing. Enrollment is rising. We seek a strong scholar and committed teacher to join our Management faculty.

You will teach in:

  • Bachelor programs
  • Master programs
  • MBA
  • PhD

All courses are taught in English.

Teaching Responsibilities

Teaching load:

  • 3 courses per semester
  • 9 contact hours per semester

Teaching reduction may be available for strong research output.

Preferred teaching areas:

  • Organizational Behavior (OB)
  • Strategy
  • Entrepreneurship
  • International Business

Can you teach across levels? Undergraduate and graduate? That is important for this role.

Research Expectations

We value research excellence.

Applicants must:

  • Hold a doctorate in Management
  • Have a PhD from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited school
  • Show consistent research output

Publications should be in:

  • SSCI journals
  • ABDC or ABS ranked journals
  • Scopus Q1 or Q2 journals

Expectation:

  • On average, one Scopus Q1–Q2 journal article per year

Recent PhD graduates must show strong research potential. For example, working papers under review or a clear pipeline.

Service Commitment

Faculty members contribute to:

  • Department service
  • College committees
  • University initiatives

This is a full academic role: teaching, research, and service.
