Marist University invites applications for a full-time Finance Lecturer with a focus on investments and financial literacy. This is a teaching-centered, 9-month term faculty position based at our main campus in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Position Overview
The Finance Lecturer will teach a 4–4 course load (four courses per semester), totaling 24 credits per year.

Class sizes are small—typically fewer than 25 students. This allows for discussion, mentoring, and hands-on learning.
This is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching

Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in finance

Create engaging lectures and practical assignments

Use real-world examples from investments and markets

Support student success inside and outside the classroom
Program Leadership

Oversee the university’s financial literacy program

Promote strong money management skills across campus
Professional Engagement

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in business or a related field

Graduate study or professional experience in finance

3–5 years of work experience outside academia
