Finance Faculty Position

Position Overview
Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI), Morocco, invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Finance starting Spring 2026. The role is open at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, depending on experience and qualifications. We are looking for faculty who can teach across undergraduate and graduate finance programs, inspire students, and contribute to a growing international academic community.

Responsibilities

• Teach a broad range of finance courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
• Develop and maintain an active research and publication agenda.
• Contribute to curriculum innovation and student advising.
• Participate in school and university service activities to support the institution’s growth.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Finance or a related field such as FinTech, from an accredited institution.
• A strong record or clear potential for scholarly research and publications.
• Commitment to high-quality, student-centered teaching.
• Willingness to engage in service and academic community development.

About the Institution
AUI is fully accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), with its BBA program accredited by EFMD. The School of Business Administration is also in the process of pursuing AACSB accreditation. AUI is unique in Morocco as the only English-language public university and one of just three U.S.-accredited institutions in Africa.

Located in the Middle Atlas Mountains, Ifrane is a scenic, family-friendly city, just 45 minutes from the historic centers of Fez and Meknes.
