Data Analytics Faculty Position in China

Position Overview
LNNU-MSU College of International Business in Dalian, China is hiring a full-time Data Analytics Faculty Member to begin in Spring 2026. The role involves teaching undergraduate students in database management, data infrastructure, machine learning, and related data analytics subjects. All instruction is conducted in English, and familiarity with Chinese is not required.

Faculty teach up to 15 lecture hours per week and hold 5 office hours, providing guidance and mentorship to students outside the classroom. This is a chance to join a respected U.S.-China partnership university and help bridge global education.

Responsibilities
Teach one or more courses in ITC or QBA related to data analytics.
Engage with students during and beyond class hours.
Contribute to program quality and academic excellence in alignment with Missouri State University (MSU) standards.
Participate in departmental meetings and student activities that promote learning and cultural exchange.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Data Analytics or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Two years of teaching experience, ideally at the university or college level.
• Must be eligible for a Chinese work permit and visa (LNNU-MSU provides assistance).
• Must pass background checks as required by MSU and Chinese visa regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Data Analytics or a related field.
• Five or more years of university teaching experience.
• Experience teaching students whose first language is not English.

Compensation & Benefits
• Monthly salary: 16,000–20,000 RMB (depending on qualifications).
• Housing allowance: 3,800 RMB per month.
