Position Overview
The Carroll School of Management at Boston College is hiring for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position in Business Analytics. The school welcomes applicants with expertise across analytics, but those able to teach data analytics, machine learning, and basic statistics will be especially valued. This role begins in Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Teach 6 courses per year (3 per semester) in business analytics and related areas
  • Deliver clear, engaging instruction for undergraduate and graduate students
  • Support student learning through mentoring and academic guidance
  • Contribute to the Boston College community by serving on committees and participating in school initiatives

Qualifications

  • Completed PhD, or expected completion by August 2026, in Business/Data Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Demonstrated success in teaching and engaging students in analytics or data-driven fields
  • Strong interest in advancing teaching excellence and contributing to the Carroll School mission

Compensation & Benefits
Boston College offers highly competitive salaries:

  • Assistant Professor of the Practice: $140,000–150,000
  • Associate Professor of the Practice: $160,000–175,000
  • Professor of the Practice: $185,000–200,000
