Position Overview
The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for up to two Assistant Professor of Finance positions starting Fall 2026. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty role offering an exceptional salary range of $249,000–$274,000 with relocation support. The Finance Division is recognized for research excellence, strong teaching standards, and a collegial faculty culture.

Responsibilities
Faculty in this role will:

  • Conduct high-quality, peer-reviewed research in finance and related areas.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance with skill and enthusiasm.
  • Contribute to service responsibilities within the school, university, and profession.

Qualifications

  • PhD in finance, economics, real estate, or a closely related field (or near completion by the start date).
  • Evidence of strong research ability and publication potential.
  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and ability to engage with students.
  • Commitment to collegial collaboration with faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
    Note: Candidates without a conferred PhD at time of hire will be appointed as Instructor until the degree is awarded.
