Position Overview

The selected candidate will:

• Teach in undergraduate and graduate accounting programs
• Conduct high-impact research

• Managerial Accounting
• Computerized Accounting
• Taxation
• Auditing
• Related accounting courses

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Support

• Design and deliver accounting courses
• Use technology and innovative teaching tools
• Assess student learning
• Supervise student projects and dissertations
• Provide academic advising

Research & Scholarship

• Conduct high-quality accounting research
• Publish in reputable journals (SCOPUS, ABDC, ABS listed)
• Present at international conferences
• Collaborate across disciplines when possible

Service & Industry Engagement

• Participate in departmental and university committees
• Promote the visibility of Ajman University
• Engage with business partners and the professional community

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• A Ph.D. in Accounting from a reputable university (AACSB-accredited preferred)
• At least two years of university teaching experience, preferably at an AACSB-accredited institution
• Experience teaching accounting courses at undergraduate and graduate levels
• A strong record of peer-reviewed publications

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or similar)
• Professional experience in accounting or auditing
• Record of interdisciplinary research
• Experience supervising graduate students
