Position Overview

China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) invites applications for Assistant Professor faculty positions in Managerial Accounting within the Department of Finance and Accounting.

Successful applicants will pursue a rigorous and sustained research agenda, contribute actively to the school’s intellectual community, and teach at the MBA or executive level.

Faculty members may choose to be based at any of CEIBS’ Chinese mainland campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, or Shenzhen, China.

Official Position Title: Faculty Positions in Managerial Accounting at CEIBS (Assistant Professor)

About the Role

The Assistant Professor position combines research, teaching, and active participation in the intellectual life of CEIBS.

The position features a staged teaching-load arrangement. Newly appointed Assistant Professors receive a significantly reduced teaching load during their initial three to six years to support the development of a strong research pipeline.

CEIBS also provides generous research funding and reduced teaching loads in recognition of high-quality scholarly publications.

  • Contribute actively to the intellectual community of CEIBS.
  • Teach courses at the MBA or executive level.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Hold a PhD in accounting from a highly regarded doctoral programme, with all degree requirements completed by the time of appointment.
  • Demonstrate strong potential for publishing in leading academic journals.
  • Show a clear commitment to teaching excellence.
