AI & Business Faculty Jobs

About the Role
The Haskayne School of Business in Calgary is hiring two full-time faculty members. The jobs are at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. The focus is on AI in business, and how AI shapes people, work, and strategy. The School wants scholars who study how AI changes decisions, markets, teams, and culture. The roles connect with four fields: Marketing, Organizational Behavior & HR, Entrepreneurship, and Strategy.

What You Will Study
Think about how AI shifts how firms plan. How teams work. How leaders lead. How markets move. How people decide. How new ideas grow. How AI tools change customers. How AI shapes work and jobs. These themes guide the research focus.

What You Will Teach
You will teach courses about AI and its place in business today. This can include Generative AI, AI and Innovation, Strategy for AI, and Ethical AI in organizations. You will teach in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.

What You Need (Assistant Professor)
You need strong promise in research. You need papers or revisions in top journals. You need solid theory and methods. You need good teaching and strong student feedback. You need to show you can teach with AI in mind. You need to show service to your field. You need to be ready to guide research students. You need interest in grants. You need to want to do work that matters.

What You Need (Associate Professor)
You need a strong record in top journals. You need proof you can teach well. You need a history of PhD supervision. You need success with grants or readiness to apply. You need impact in industry or policy or the research community. You need a record of service. You need clear thought leadership in your field.

Who Can Apply
