About the Opportunity
The Charlton College of Business at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor in Decision & Information Science (DIS). This role offers a chance to teach and mentor students across both undergraduate and graduate programs in Information Systems and Technology Management.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must hold, by the start date, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems, Technology Management, or a closely related field. Candidates should demonstrate strong potential for teaching excellence and a passion for guiding students toward success in technology-driven business careers.

Teaching Responsibilities
You will teach courses in areas such as:

  • Systems Analysis and Design
  • Database Design and Implementation
  • Programming
  • Business Intelligence
  • Project Management
  • Introduction to Business Organization
  • Courses within the MS Technology Management and Information Systems majors

Teaching will include both undergraduate and graduate students in the Charlton College of Business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional or academic experience in information systems or technology management
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent
  • Qualification under AACSB standards as a scholarly or instructional practitioner
