The Department of Business Analytics at the Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa, invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in Business Analytics. This business school faculty job begins in August 2025 and is a one-year, renewable, non-tenure track appointment. The position offers a competitive salary with benefits and requires teaching four classes per year. Please note, this position is not eligible for US work authorization.

About the Department of Business Analytics
Business Analytics at Iowa is an innovative and multi-disciplinary department that combines analytics, computer science, statistics, machine learning, and business strategy. The department is internationally recognized for its strengths in predictive analytics, data mining, social-network analysis, mathematical optimization, and supply chain research. We offer a BBA, MS (full-time and part-time), and a PhD in Business Analytics, and engage closely with industry through the Tippie Analytics Cooperative. The department also hosts major events like the International Analytics Case Competition and Women in Analytics and Leadership Conference.

Minimum Education Requirement
A doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Logistics, Management Science, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Statistics. The doctoral degree must be completed by August 20, 2025.
