Position Details

• Type: Full-time, Career-Track
• Location: Tucson, AZ (on-campus teaching required)
• Rank: Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (dependent on experience)
• Salary: $90,000–$120,000, DOE
• Start Date: August 2025

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach 6 courses per academic year (undergraduate or graduate-level business analytics)
• Courses may include BNAN 276, BNAN 277, and others
• Hold regular office hours and provide student mentorship
• Participate in departmental and university service activities
• Engage in experiential and case-based learning (as appropriate)

Minimum Qualifications
Lecturer:

• Master’s degree in statistics, economics, analytics, marketing, information systems, computer science, or a related field
• Availability for in-person teaching in Tucson

Senior Lecturer:

• Same degree requirements as above
• Minimum six years of college/university teaching experience
• At least one year teaching business analytics or related subjects

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline
• Experience teaching business analytics, applied statistics, or machine learning
• Experience with large, in-person course sections and case-based learning
