Position Summary
We are currently hiring a Remote Business Faculty Member to teach online management courses that support NEC’s graduate business programs. This role also includes responsibilities in course development, accreditation support, and student engagement. The ideal candidate will bring both academic expertise and practical experience, with a passion for teaching in online and hybrid modalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach MBA and IT Project Management courses including:
    • Leadership & Change in Organizations
    • Marketing Strategies
    • Accounting for Leaders
    • Strategic Project Management
    • AI in Project Management
    • Operation Planning & Policy
    • Security Management for Project Leaders
  • Develop and update online business administration courses
  • Contribute to new program development and executive learning initiatives
  • Mentor adjunct faculty and support new instructor onboarding
  • Advise graduate students and participate in admissions events
  • Expand relationships with employers and industry partners
  • Participate in ongoing assessment and ACBSP accreditation processes
  • Assist with college-wide special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Evidence of successful teaching experience at the graduate level
  • Experience teaching in online, hybrid, and asynchronous formats
  • Proficiency in developing online courses and engaging digital content
  • Terminal degree in a business discipline (minimum 18 graduate credit hours in the specialization)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP) or significant industry experience in business or project management
  • Established network within the business or academic community
  • Active scholarly or professional development engagement
  • Strong collaborative skills and commitment to achieving team goals
