Position Overview
Emporia State University’s AACSB-accredited School of Business & Technology invites applications for a Management Faculty position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of business administration and management courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including online and accelerated courses.

This position may be offered as tenure-track, multi-year contract (non-tenure track up to three years), or non-tenure track, depending on academic program needs, candidate qualifications, and institutional considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate management courses in business administration and related areas.
  • Conduct and publish high-quality scholarly research in management and business disciplines.
  • Engage in service activities that support Emporia State University’s mission and contribute to the broader business community.

Required Qualifications

  • Terminal degree in Management or a related discipline preferred (ABD candidates may also be considered).
  • Teaching and/or industry experience in executive roles is a plus.
  • Strong record of teaching effectiveness with satisfactory evaluations.
  • Ability to maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status under AACSB guidelines.
  • Professional commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Emporia State University’s School of Business & Technology.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $86,332 - $110,000 per year
