About the Opportunity
The College of Integrative Studies (CIS) at Singapore Management University (SMU) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track business school faculty position in Learning Analytics. This is an excellent opportunity to join a diverse, interdisciplinary team and help shape the future of business education.

Key Responsibilities
What will you do in this role?

  • Conduct high-impact research in Learning Analytics. You can focus on developing new methods, exploring new applications, or studying learning systems. Connections to digital transformation, sustainable living, or growth in Asia are a plus but not required.
  • Apply for competitive research funding and publish in top academic journals.
  • Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in business administration or related fields. Teaching assignments will be set in consultation with the Dean or Associate Dean.
  • Mentor students and help guide them academically and professionally.
  • Serve on college and university committees, participate in events, and engage with industry or community partners as needed.

Who Should Apply?
Are you passionate about business school teaching and research? We welcome applications from Assistant, Associate, or Full Professors, including experienced faculty members. If you are a senior scholar, you may be considered for tenure on appointment.

What Do You Need to Qualify?

  • PhD in Learning Analytics or a related field (awarded or expected by the start date).
  • Proven research excellence, shown by publications and funding for senior roles, or strong potential if applying as Assistant Professor.
  • Evidence of strong teaching ability and a willingness to develop new teaching methods.

About the College of Integrative Studies
Founded in 2022, CIS is a hub for interdisciplinary learning and research at SMU. It delivers the Core Curriculum for all undergraduates and offers Singapore’s first customizable undergraduate major, plus advanced degrees in sustainability and Asian urbanism. The college works closely with SMU’s other schoolsβ€”Business, Accountancy, Economics, Computing, Law, and Social Sciences.
