Teaching Assistant / Education Support Specialist – Business Administration

Position Overview
Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar is hiring a Teaching Assistant / Education Support Specialist for the Business Administration program. This role is ideal for individuals seeking rewarding academic careers in business. You will support faculty, mentor students, and contribute to applied business research. The appointment begins in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.

Responsibilities
You will work closely with faculty to support both teaching and research in the business program. Duties include:

• Supporting course content design and instructional materials.
• Coordinating content across multiple business school courses.
• Organizing and guiding student course assistants.
• Leading recitations and mentoring students during office hours.
• Managing course websites and addressing student questions.
• Contributing to the program’s overall educational mission.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree is preferred, though strong candidates with a bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, course support, or student mentorship.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple courses.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Specialization in economics, finance, accounting, operations management, data analytics, or related fields.
• Candidates with strong statistical and coding experience (Python or R) are encouraged to apply.
