Position Overview
Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Management. This opportunity is ideal for scholars in organizational behavior, psychology, sociology, and business-related disciplines who are eager to join a supportive academic community. We welcome micro, meso, and macro-level OB candidates who apply strong theory to pressing challenges in organizations.

We are especially interested in applicants who publish or aim to publish in top management journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Management Science, Organization Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of Applied Psychology.

Qualifications

  • PhD in management, business, psychology, sociology, or related field (or expected completion before appointment start)
  • Evidence of or potential for research excellence in leading journals
  • Commitment to high-quality teaching and mentorship

Salary Range
$150,000 – $190,000 annually, depending on qualifications, education, and experience.
