Hub Structure
The university uses four Hubs—Function, Information, Systems, Society—and 16 Thrusts. This mix helps teachers and students work across fields and share ideas.
About Society Hub
The Society Hub (SOCH) trains talent for a digital world. We blend social good with tech innovation. Our four Thrusts are Carbon Neutrality, FinTech, Policy & Entrepreneurship, and Urban Governance.
Course Details
We seek a lecturer for SOCH 5000: Technological Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship. This core course shapes our research postgraduates. It also serves students from other Hubs.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and teach SOCH 5000 to research postgrads;
- Guide student group projects;
- Study and improve how we teach;
- Spread awareness of SOCH 5000 across Hubs;
- Mentor junior faculty;
- Join community service tasks from the Dean.
Qualifications
- PhD in a related field;
- Strong teaching record in higher education;
- Industry or research experience is a plus;
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals;
- Skill in English, spoken and written;
- A passion for teaching and teamwork.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
Salary is internationally competitive and matches your experience. Appointments are fixed-term up to three years, with review and renewal based on performance and funding.
