DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business, located in downtown Chicago’s vibrant business district, invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track Instructor position in Entrepreneurship beginning in the 2025–2026 academic year. This role contributes to one of the nation’s top-20 undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship programs, as ranked by The Princeton Review. As a key member of a dynamic and diverse department, you will be immersed in one of the most innovative business school environments in the country.

Position Summary
This full-time faculty position in business administration offers a rewarding opportunity to teach across both undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will:

  • Teach 3 courses per quarter (9 annually)
  • Participate actively in departmental service and committee work

Department Overview
The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship houses a research-active, multidisciplinary faculty supporting programs in:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Business Analytics
  • Human Resource Management
  • General Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Sustainability Management

The department is affiliated with the award-winning Coleman Center for Entrepreneurship, a hub of innovation that earned the 2023 Nasdaq Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence. Students benefit from active clubs and organizations such as the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization. The department maintains strong connections with Chicago’s start-up scene, business incubators, and corporate partners.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Management, or related field and 5 years of relevant professional experience
    OR
  • Doctorate in Entrepreneurship, Management, or related field

Preferred:

  • Prior university-level teaching experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, or general management
  • Ability to teach courses focused on social and environmental sustainability within entrepreneurship and business contexts
  • Demonstrated industry and/or entrepreneurial experience

Compensation and Benefits

Academic Calendar
DePaul operates on a quarter system, with Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters running 11 weeks each. Summer courses are offered in two 5-week sessions. Please note that the College of Law uses a semester system.
