About the Role
The Professor of Analytics will lead high-impact research in data-driven methods and advanced analytics. The role has a strong focus on financial services and financial technology. Glasgow is a major UK hub for banking, fintech, and data innovation. Global firms like Barclays, HSBC, JP Morgan, Lloyds Banking Group, and Morgan Stanley have a strong presence here. This role is open only to international researchers. Applicants must not have lived in the UK during the 24 months before the grant start date. Applicants must not be employed by a UK-based organization or its overseas campus. The successful candidate must relocate to the United Kingdom or the Common Travel Area. Most research time must be spent physically based in the UK.
