Overview
Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Associate position focused on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Business Ethics. The successful candidate will be based at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management and affiliated with one of the school’s seven academic areas:

  • Accounting
  • Applied Economics and Policy
  • Finance
  • Management and Organizations
  • Marketing and Management Communication
  • Operations, Technology, and Information Management
  • Strategy and Business Economics

This opportunity is ideal for recent PhDs aiming to pursue high-impact interdisciplinary research and collaborate with leading faculty at one of the world’s premier institutions for business faculty jobs.

Research Focus
We are particularly interested in scholars with expertise or research interests in how artificial intelligence intersects with business ethics within any business discipline—including (but not limited to) accounting, finance, marketing, organizational behavior, or operations. Applicants from both business and technical backgrounds (e.g., computer science, engineering, computational social science) are welcome.

Qualifications

  • PhD in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field (completed by start date)
  • Demonstrated interest in Business Ethics
  • Strong quantitative, communication, and project management skills
  • A publication record is preferred

Salary & Compensation
In compliance with New York’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected annual base salary range is $60,000 – $100,000, with most hires falling within $61,008 – $87,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
