The University of New England’s College of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenured Professor to lead our new online MBA program. If you have experience in business administration faculty jobs or business school faculty jobs and a strong background in online program development, this could be the next step in your academic career. This position is based at our scenic Biddeford, Maine campus and offers a chance to join a collaborative and growing team.

About the Role
As MBA Director and Professor, you will:

  • Lead the new Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, launching Fall 2025
  • Collaborate with the College of Professional Studies
  • Teach in the College of Business and other related programs
  • Take on leadership responsibilities as assigned
  • Support both online and in-person business faculty programs
  • Teach the equivalent of 6 credits per semester
  • Play a key part in curriculum development, program assessment, and academic recruiting
  • Contribute to research, industry engagement, and service across the university

Who Should Apply
Applicants should:

  • Hold a terminal degree (Ph.D., DBA, or equivalent) in business administration, finance, marketing, accounting, management, supply chain management, sport management, economics, entrepreneurship, or a closely related field
  • Qualify for a tenured Full Professor or Senior Associate Professor appointment
  • Have strong experience in online program management and online teaching
  • Show active scholarship and industry involvement
  • Bring professional experience in their area of expertise
  • Have experience developing online business programs or business school jobs focused on online learning
  • Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, research, and student-centered innovation
