Lecturer in Digital Business & Business Law – DUFE

Position Overview
Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) invites applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Digital Business & Business Law. This full-time academic role is part of the Surrey International Institute, an established partnership between DUFE and the University of Surrey, UK. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative business faculty teaching with a strong focus on the digitalisation of business and international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate modules in International Business Management, Digital Business, and Business Law & Ethics.
• Work closely with UK faculty to deliver courses aligned with international academic standards.
• Design engaging learning experiences and adopt new teaching methods that encourage student growth.
• Provide academic support through consultation hours, personal tutoring, and mentorship.
• Develop assessments, mark coursework and exams, and deliver constructive feedback.
• Contribute to peer observations, curriculum improvement, and research initiatives.

Qualifications

• PhD in Business Management or closely related field preferred; Master’s degree with significant professional experience may be considered.
• At least two years of teaching experience, ideally at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to teach across multiple areas of business school jobs, including operations management, marketing, project management, and global strategy.
• Familiarity with UK higher education quality standards.
• Strong communication skills, independence, and initiative.
• International teaching experience and formal teaching certifications are advantageous.
