Position Summary
The Department of Information Technology and Analytics at the Kogod School of Business invites applications for full-time, open-rank, non-tenure track business faculty jobs focused on database, analytics, and artificial intelligence. The appointment begins in January 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business analytics, AI, and database management
  • Engage in student academic advising and mentoring
  • Maintain subject-matter currency to support high-quality teaching
  • Participate in curriculum development and academic committees
  • Contribute to service within the department, school, and university

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Ph.D., MBA, MS, or a related terminal degree from an accredited institution in business administration, analytics, AI, or a closely related field
  • Have university-level teaching experience in business school faculty jobs or relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrate excellence in pedagogy, including the use of current teaching technologies
  • Exhibit a collaborative mindset and commitment to inclusive, team-based academic environments

Rank and Compensation
Initial appointments are typically made at the rank of Professorial Lecturer. The standard teaching load is six courses per academic year. Appointments are renewable, subject to performance and budget availability.

  • Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000 annually
  • Includes eligibility for promotion per university guidelines
