The University of Hong Kong invites applications for several appointments as Tenure-Track Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor in Finance in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref. 537060).
The appointments are expected to commence on July 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Appointments will be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the end of a second three-year fixed-term contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at the Professor or Associate Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms.
The Faculty's Area of Finance has 26 research-active faculty members and runs a weekly seminar series.
Since 2021, faculty members in the Area have published 39 papers in the Journal of Finance (JF), Journal of Financial Economics (JFE), and Review of Financial Studies (RFS). Based on these three journals, the Area is ranked Top 15 worldwide and No. 1 in Asia in the UT Dallas Business School Ranking.
Teaching, research, and professional activities are conducted in English.
