Position Overview

The Graduate School of Business is seeking outstanding scholars in Finance. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in research and a commitment to high-quality teaching.

Faculty members are expected to:

• Conduct innovative and impactful research in finance.
• Publish in leading academic journals.
• Teach finance courses in MBA and PhD programs.
• Mentor students and contribute to the academic community.
• Participate in departmental and university service.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, candidates should have:

• A PhD in Finance or a closely related field.
• Junior applicants must have completed, or expect to complete, their PhD by September 1, 2027.
• A strong research record or outstanding research potential.
• The ability to teach finance courses effectively at the graduate level.

Salary

Expected annual base salary ranges are:

• Assistant Professor: $280,000 – $295,000
• Associate Professor: $310,000 – $335,000
• Full Professor: $385,000 – $495,000

• Academic experience
• Qualifications
• Years since earning the terminal degree
• Field of specialization
• Internal equity
• Market conditions
• Available departmental budget
