Faculty of Business and Sustainable Innovation
This full-time faculty role sits within the College of Business and Management. The position focuses on innovation, sustainability, ESG, and behavioral science. Faculty members will work closely with the Smart Green Transformation Center, known as GREEN-X. This role is ideal for scholars who enjoy applied research and real-world impact. Role Focus and Research Themes
Faculty members will lead and support research in behavioral science, ESG, and sustainable innovation. Core themes include trust, disclosure, ESG perception, and stakeholder behavior. Research also covers carbon management tools, smart aquaculture, waste sorting, recycling, and ESG training programs. Faculty help design experiments, surveys, and training programs that guide real decisions. You may ask, will this research matter outside journals? Yes. Projects are field-tested, data-driven, and linked to policy and industry.

GREEN-X Research Projects
GREEN-X runs five major projects. These include a carbon footprint monitoring system, smart marine conservation and aquaculture, smart waste systems for urban circular economies, green policy design, and the Vietnam Innovation and Green Growth Index. Faculty collaborate across disciplines and sectors. The goal is simple. Create evidence that drives smarter and greener decisions.

Teaching Responsibilities
Faculty design and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business, innovation, sustainability, and ESG. Teaching is student-centered and practical. Courses link theory to real cases from Vietnam and global markets. Faculty assess student work, guide projects, and supervise research. Mentoring students and junior colleagues is a valued part of the role. Teaching here is not about lectures only. It is about dialogue, problem-solving, and growth.

Research Expectations
Faculty lead high-impact research with clear outcomes. Publications in strong peer-reviewed journals are expected. External research funding is encouraged and supported. Collaboration across colleges and with industry partners is part of daily life. Faculty are also invited to support innovation, startups, and technology transfer when research shows market potential.

Service and Academic Citizenship
Faculty contribute to committees, program development, and accreditation work. Participation in hiring, curriculum design, and academic events is expected. Faculty also support VinUni’s long-term strategy and mission. Service here is not symbolic. It shapes how the university grows.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in management, behavioral science, or a related field. Strong skills in survey design and experiments are required. Experience with tools such as Qualtrics, SEM, SPSS, or R is expected. Candidates should show teaching ability and a strong research record or potential. Experience in international, multicultural, or industry settings is highly valued.

Rank-Specific Criteria
Assistant Professor candidates should show clear research promise and effective teaching ability. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. Associate Professor candidates must show sustained publications, strong teaching, and success as a principal investigator. Professor candidates must demonstrate global research leadership, major funded projects, and long-term academic impact.
