Business Analytics Faculty Position – Zhuhai, China

Position Overview
Beijing Normal–Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) at Zhuhai invites applications for the role of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor in Business Analytics (Ref: FBM241104). The position begins in February or September 2026. BNBU is part of the Greater Bay Area, a thriving region that links Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, offering a unique environment for global research and teaching.

Responsibilities
Faculty members in this role will:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business analytics, data science, and AI for business.
• Guide students through hands-on learning in programming, database management, R language, statistical reasoning, data mining, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and data visualization.
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative course design.
• Pursue independent research that leads to publications in internationally recognized journals.
• Mentor students in academic and career development.
• Build collaborative projects with industry partners to connect classroom learning with real-world applications.

Qualifications

• A PhD in Business Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following: programming for business applications, database applications, R language, big data mining, AI, deep learning, and business decision analytics.
• Research potential or record of publication in top-ranked journals.
• A passion for teaching excellence and student mentorship.
• Ability to contribute to areas such as text mining, ethical issues in business analytics, operations research, optimization methods, calculus, linear algebra, probability, or C language is highly valued.
