About the Role
The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) invites applications for the position of Associate Professor (or higher) in Marketing within the Department of Business. This tenure-track position begins in Fall 2026. The university seeks an established scholar who will teach, research, and contribute to an active academic community.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:

  • Teach six Marketing courses per academic year.
  • Conduct and publish scholarly research in Marketing or related fields.
  • Advise and mentor students.
  • Engage in departmental and university service.
  • Contribute to community initiatives and collaborative projects.

Candidate Qualifications
Applicants should demonstrate:

  • A Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related discipline.
  • Current rank of Associate or Full Professor.
  • A strong record of peer-reviewed research publications.
  • Proven experience teaching Marketing at the college level in English.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to adopt the American liberal arts approach.
  • A collegial, team-oriented attitude.

Candidates holding habilitation in Bulgaria or another European country are especially encouraged to apply.
