Position Overview
Yorkville University is seeking an Associate Chair, Supply Chain to join our Business Administration program in New Westminster. This is a full-time academic leadership role that combines teaching, curriculum oversight, and industry engagement. The position offers an exciting opportunity for those pursuing academic careers in business to help shape the future of supply chain education in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses and mentor faculty within the Supply Chain specialization.
  • Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Build strong ties with employers, alumni, and academic partners.
  • Represent the specialization at open houses, student recruitment events, and industry conferences.
  • Serve as liaison between the Supply Chain Advisory Panel and the Faculty.
  • Lead program promotion in collaboration with recruitment and marketing teams.
  • Support graduate career placement and host events that connect students with employers.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field (PhD preferred).
  • Proven teaching and course development experience at the post-secondary level.
  • Strong record of research or professional publications.
  • Active membership with Supply Chain Canada or relevant professional associations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring faculty and engaging students.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
