The Department of Management and Organizations at the NYU Stern School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management position beginning in September 2027.

Position Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct high-quality scholarly research
  • Publish research in leading academic journals
  • Teach undergraduate, MBA, and/or PhD courses
  • Teach core management or strategy courses
  • Develop elective courses related to:
    • Global strategy
    • Multinational management
    • International business
    • Artificial intelligence
    • Technology and innovation
  • Mentor students and contribute to the academic community
  • Participate in departmental service and university activities

Required Qualifications

Applicants should:

  • Hold a PhD in Management, Strategy, International Business, or a closely related field, or successfully defend their doctoral dissertation before the appointment date.
  • Demonstrate strong research potential.
  • Show the ability to publish in top academic journals.
  • Demonstrate effective teaching skills.
  • Be prepared to teach students from diverse backgrounds.

Salary and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $150,000 – $240,000 (USD)
