Assistant Professor – Business Law & Ethics

About the Role

The Ajman University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Legal Studies and Business Ethics. The role starts in Fall 2026/2027.

You will teach, research, and work with the business community. You will teach both undergraduate and graduate students.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Teach courses such as:
  • Legal Environment of Business
  • Business Ethics
  • Corporate Governance
  • Contract Law
• Use modern and tech-based teaching methods
• Guide and advise students
• Supervise student projects and theses
• Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
• Join committees and support university service
• Work with industry and offer consultancy when needed

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in:
  • Business Law
  • Legal Studies
  • Or a related field
• Degree from a reputable university

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of teaching experience
• Experience in AACSB-accredited schools preferred
• Strong teaching record in law and ethics subjects
• Published research in quality journals
• Experience supervising students
• Record of service to university or community

Preferred Profile

• Experience in legal practice or compliance
• Interdisciplinary research experience
• Active engagement with the business world
