The School of Business at UB North seeks a faculty member with deep knowledge of Human Resources Management. Strength in related management areas is also valued. Teaching Responsibilities
You will teach undergraduate courses in Human Resources and Management. Likely courses include Organizational Behavior, Workforce Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Leadership, and Strategic Human Resource Management. You may ask, will I have input into course design? Yes. Course creation and program development are part of the role.

Research and Service Expectations
Faculty are expected to engage in research and scholarly work. The balance between teaching and research is set by mutual agreement. You will also serve on committees at the department, school, and university levels. Helping with student advising and recruitment is part of daily academic life.

Additional Academic Duties
Responsibilities include curriculum review and development. Faculty also supervise students during field and practice experiences when needed. Grant support and funded projects are encouraged. Industry experience is a strong plus and adds real-world value to teaching.

Required Qualifications
An earned PhD in Human Resources Management or a closely related field is preferred. Candidates should show strong teaching ability and a solid research record. The ideal candidate balances teaching, research, and service with ease. A clear commitment to student success is essential.
