Assistant or Associate Professor in Management

Position Overview
The American University of Armenia (AUA) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Management at the Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics (CBE). Located in Yerevan, Armenia, AUA offers a unique opportunity to teach, research, and collaborate in a dynamic, internationally recognized institution affiliated with the University of California System. The position is open at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
Faculty members in this role will:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Management, Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, and related fields such as Human Resource Analytics and Strategic Management.
• Prepare and deliver lectures that encourage critical thinking and student engagement.
• Develop innovative course materials and curricula, including new courses aligned with CBE’s academic goals.
• Conduct impactful research and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
• Mentor students on capstone projects, independent studies, and academic development.
• Collaborate with faculty and international partners on joint research and educational projects.
• Serve on academic committees and contribute to program development, accreditation efforts, and strategic planning.
• Engage in professional development activities and support the mission of AUA through service and outreach.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Management, Business, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated research record and publication potential in peer-reviewed journals.
• University-level teaching experience is highly preferred.
• Strong commitment to student-centered learning and evidence-based pedagogy.
• Experience integrating technology and innovative methods into teaching.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural academic environments.
