About the Role
The College of Business is seeking applicants for the role of Assistant or Associate Professor in Accounting. This is a full-time academic faculty position within a dynamic and growing business school environment. Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will design and deliver accounting courses, guide student learning, and maintain teaching resources. Faculty also engage in applied research, liaise with industry partners, and contribute to program development and accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and evaluate a broad range of accounting courses
• Support students through mentorship and academic guidance
• Participate in industry advisory committees and outreach
• Maintain course portfolio documents for accreditation
• Contribute to applied research projects and publications
• Engage with the university community and professional networks

Education Requirements

• PhD and master’s degree in Accounting or a related field from a recognized institution
• Undergraduate degree from an accredited university

Experience Requirements
Assistant Professor

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education or professional training
• 3+ years of work experience as an accountant or in a related field
• Evidence of research output in reputable journals
• Strong record of supervising research students

Associate Professor

• At least 8 years of teaching experience in higher education or professional training
• 3+ years of work experience as an accountant or related role
• International research reputation with publications in leading journals
• Strong record of mentoring graduate research students

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA
• Diploma in Education (post-secondary, adult, or vocational education)
• Extensive industry experience (6–10 years, depending on rank)
• Experience in technology-enhanced learning or digital projects

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to design authentic assessments and modern course delivery
• Digital literacy with fluency in educational technologies
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Collaborative spirit with ability to engage colleagues, students, and industry
