Assistant/Associate Professor – Digital Business Innovation

About the Role
The School of Management at Canadian University Dubai is hiring a faculty member in Digital Business Innovation.

You will teach, do research, and help grow the program.
You will focus on topics like digital transformation, AI in business, and technology strategy.

You will also help students succeed and support new ideas in business and tech.

Key Responsibilities
You will:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
• Update course content with new digital trends
• Guide students on projects, internships, and theses
• Support curriculum design and program improvement
• Publish research in peer-reviewed journals (Q1/Q2 preferred)
• Join faculty meetings and accreditation work (AACSB is a plus)
• Work with industry and attend conferences

Example: You may teach a course on AI in business and guide a student project on fintech startups.

Qualifications

• PhD in Digital Business, Information Systems, IT Management, or related field
• Degree from a top 500 QS-ranked university
• Strong teaching and research record
• Publications in Scopus-indexed journals
• Industry experience is a plus
• Professional certifications are a bonus

Preference is given to candidates with:

• Canadian education or experience
• Experience in North America
• Teaching experience in the Middle East

Experience Requirements
Assistant Professor:

• At least 2 years of teaching experience
• Experience with course design and student supervision

Associate Professor:

• At least 5 years of teaching (undergrad + grad)
• Experience supervising MSc or DBA students
• Knowledge of AACSB standards preferred
