About the Role

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses and supervise graduate research in the Master of Science in Finance program.

The school welcomes expertise in areas such as:

Faculty members are also expected to teach introductory finance courses when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

You will:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses
• Develop engaging and modern course materials
• Integrate new technologies and industry trends into teaching
• Supervise master's students and research projects
• Mentor students and junior faculty

Research

You will:

• Build a strong international research program
• Publish in leading academic journals
• Present research at international conferences
• Secure competitive external research funding
• Collaborate with scholars and industry partners

Research that focuses on emerging markets, especially the Middle East and Africa, is highly encouraged.

Service and Leadership

You will:

• Participate in department and university service
• Support curriculum development

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• A PhD in Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline
• A degree from a reputable university, preferably AACSB and/or EQUIS accredited
• An excellent record of research and scholarly achievement
• Publications in leading journals (ABDC A*/A or Scopus Q1/Q2 preferred)
• A strong commitment to teaching, research, and academic service

Applicants completing a PhD should demonstrate:

• A clear research agenda
• Strong publication potential
• Evidence of obtaining or pursuing competitive research funding
