Position Summary

PMU is seeking a qualified Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Finance to join its Department of Accounting and Finance.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses, contribute to scholarly research, participate in university service activities, and support accreditation and quality assurance initiatives.

Faculty members are expected to play an active role in curriculum development, student advising, committee work, and academic leadership.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related discipline
  • Degree earned from an accredited Western residential university
  • Minimum of two years of post-doctoral teaching experience in Finance
  • Demonstrated success teaching in English-language programs
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Active research record with publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience presenting research at academic conferences
  • Strong commitment to student learning and academic excellence
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work in diverse environments

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Experience with AACSB-accredited institutions
  • Knowledge of Islamic Finance
  • Experience using stock market simulation platforms
  • Advanced Excel and finance analytics skills
  • Experience with flipped classroom or innovative teaching methods
  • Professional certifications relevant to finance
  • Previous teaching or professional experience in the Middle East or GCC region
  • Experience working within technology-enhanced learning environments
