About the Opportunity

The School of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Superior is looking for a dedicated Visiting Lecturer in Accounting for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a full-time, 9-month appointment in our respected business school.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Teach 12 credits per semester in on-campus Accounting courses
  • Help build a strong academic community for both students and faculty
  • Participate in professional development and university training
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned to support the School of Business and Economics

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field
  • Experience as an instructor of record for at least one in-person university-level Accounting course

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years of university classroom teaching experience
  • Familiarity with varied teaching methods and current classroom techniques
  • Industry experience in accounting
  • Professional credentials such as CPA, CMA, or a similar certification
  • Commitment to ongoing development in business school teaching and learning

Salary and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $85,000–$95,000
  • Paid sick leave (96 hours per year) and recognized legal holidays
