Position Overview
NYU Shanghai invites applications for a full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty position in Management and Organizations at all academic ranks. The position is based in Shanghai, China.
The university welcomes candidates from across the field of Management and Organizations, with particular interest in scholars specializing in Organizational Theory, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship.
All teaching at NYU Shanghai is conducted in English. Faculty may also have opportunities to engage in research and teaching at NYU New York and other locations within the NYU Global Network.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- A completed PhD in Management and Organizations or a closely related discipline.
Applications are welcome from candidates in any field, with particular interest in expertise in:
- Organizational Theory
- Strategy
- Entrepreneurship
Compensation and Benefits
Employment terms at NYU Shanghai are comparable to those at NYU New York and other U.S. institutions with respect to compensation and research start-up funds.

NYU Shanghai is the third degree-granting campus within New York University's Global Network. It is the first higher education joint venture in China authorized to grant degrees accredited in both the United States and China.

Additional Requirements for Assistant and Associate Professor Applicants Without Tenure
Candidates applying at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank without tenure will be prompted to provide the names and email addresses of at least three evaluators.
