Position Overview
The Soules College of Business at The University of Texas at Tyler is hiring for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Management, starting Fall 2026. We welcome applicants interested in business faculty jobs, especially those focused on Organizational Behavior (OB) or Human Resources (HR). Location and Hours
This position is based at the UT Tyler campus in Tyler, Texas. It is a full-time role (40 hours per week). You will have both face-to-face and online teaching opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses, both in-person and online
  • Maintain a regular presence on campus
  • Attend department meetings and contribute to college life

Required Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management with a focus on Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, or a closely related field (ABD candidates near completion will also be considered)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional or academic experience in OB or HR
  • An active research focus in Organizational Behavior or Human Resources, with potential to publish in respected journals
  • Ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate students in OB and HR

This position comes with retirement options under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas or the Optional Retirement Program. The position is security-sensitive. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. by the time of hire.
