International Business School Suzhou (ILiverpool BSS) at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University invites applications for a Full Professor in Project Management, Intelligent Operations, Information Management, and Marketing.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Deliver lectures and tutorials across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Supervise undergraduate and master’s dissertations.
- Potentially supervise doctoral dissertations.
- Conduct research and publish academic articles.
- Attend international conferences.
- Apply for research funding.
- Contribute to service activities within the School.

Research performance at IBSS is benchmarked against internationally recognized journal-quality lists, including the Academic Journal Guide (UK), also known as the ABS list, and the ABDC list (Australia). Target levels are ABS3/ABDC-A or above.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Applicants for the Full Professor position are expected to demonstrate:
- An excellent teaching record.
- A significant record of high-quality academic publications.
- A number of external research grant awards.
- Successful experience in PhD supervision.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should preferably have:
- Experience in curriculum design and programme development.

Citizenship and Visa Regulations

Department of Intelligent Operations and Marketing
The Department of Intelligent Operations and Marketing covers Operations Management, Information Management, Marketing, and Project Management.
The department has a team of 40 academic staff. Faculty research has appeared in journals including Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, MIS Quarterly, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, British Journal of Management, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Service Research, International Journal of Information Management, International Journal of Production Economics, and Decision Support Systems, among others.
Department faculty teach undergraduate students in marketing, business administration, information management, and information systems, as well as postgraduate students in programmes including MSc Operations and Supply Chain Management, MSc Project Management, MSc Management, and the IMBA.
About Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University
