Part-Time Business Faculty – Entrepreneurship (Dubai)

Position Overview
The School of Management at Canadian University Dubai (CUD) is hiring part-time faculty in Entrepreneurship. This role involves teaching and supporting academic programs in line with UAE Ministry of Higher Education and university standards.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Duties (Part-Time)

• Teach up to 6 credit hours per semester (about 2 courses) in Entrepreneurship
• Keep accurate student records and submit grades at midterm and final periods
• Prepare and update lesson plans within one week of the semester start
• Deliver course syllabi following the university template
• Recommend quality learning resources to improve student outcomes
• Help review and improve curriculum and create new courses as needed
• Supervise independent study projects when required
• Stay up to date with developments in Entrepreneurship through ongoing professional work

Program & Departmental Support

• Act as a subject matter expert in Entrepreneurship
• Work with the Department Head and Program Chair to ensure courses meet accreditation standards
• Suggest improvements to curriculum and resources
• Report any equipment or resource needs promptly

Administrative & Community Engagement

• Attend faculty and departmental meetings as requested
• Take part in orientation sessions, professional development, and community activities
• Support accreditation and quality assurance projects
• Represent the university in academic and professional events

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or related field from a top 500 QS-ranked university, preferably Western-accredited
• Strong record of teaching and publishing in Scopus-indexed journals
• Preference for candidates with Canadian academic ties (qualifications, teaching experience, or professional connections in Canada/North America)
• Middle East teaching experience is an asset

Commitment Required

• Availability for scheduled class times
• Limited office hours for student support
• Attendance at designated meetings
