Online Adjunct Faculty in Business (Management, Finance)

Position Overview
The American University of Afghanistan is seeking qualified Adjunct Instructors in Business for online and remote teaching. This role is part-time and non-tenure track. Successful applicants will join the AUAF Adjunct Faculty Roster and may be invited to teach when courses become available. This opportunity is open to international candidates only.

Role Purpose
This call for applications builds a pool of pre-qualified adjunct faculty for the Business Department. Placement on the roster does not mean an immediate course assignment. Teaching opportunities depend on program needs, subject demand, and term schedules.

Teaching Responsibilities
Adjunct Faculty teach undergraduate or graduate courses in Management, Accounting, Finance, or Marketing. Courses are assigned by the Chair of Business. Faculty deliver clear online instruction, guide students, assign homework, and assess learning. You will hold office hours, mentor students, and support their progress. You are expected to stay current in your field and remain active in academic practice.

Faculty support the AUAF mission through quality teaching and service. Instruction follows a student-focused model with real-world examples. Faculty show professional behavior, respect, and care in all interactions. Scholarship and service are part of the role and should benefit student learning.

Qualifications
A Doctoral or Master’s degree in a relevant business field is preferred. At least three years of higher education teaching experience is required. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Experience in academic administration is a plus. Candidates must follow university policies and respect confidentiality.
