About the Department
The Department of Finance and Business Law includes 17 full-time faculty and serves students in Finance, Quantitative Finance, and Business Law. Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Business Law (four 3-credit courses per semester during the academic year)
• Support students with engaging, clear, and practical instruction
• Contribute service to the department, college, and university
• Maintain professional qualifications to support ongoing academic excellence

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• J.D. degree required
• Master’s in business preferred
• Significant and relevant professional work experience within the past five years, or current AACSB instructional or scholarly practitioner status
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required
