Financial Mathematics Faculty Position – BNBU Zhuhai, China

Position Overview
Beijing Normal–Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU), Zhuhai, invites applications for Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor in Financial Mathematics (Ref: FST241111). Appointments are expected to begin in February or September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic institution at the intersection of financial mathematics, applied data science, and international finance.

Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in financial mathematics and related fields.
• Conduct independent, high-impact research leading to publication in top international journals.
• Develop new academic programs and contribute to innovative teaching methods.
• Engage with industry partners to connect financial research with real-world applications.
• Mentor students and provide academic and career guidance.

Qualifications
Applicants should hold a PhD in financial engineering, financial mathematics, or a closely related discipline. Strong candidates from mathematics, statistics, operations research, data science, computer science, or finance are also encouraged to apply. The ideal applicant will demonstrate:

• A proven track record (or strong potential) in scholarly research and publication.
• Commitment to teaching excellence at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Mathematical Finance, Probability Theory, Operations Research, Financial Derivatives, Risk Management, International Finance, or Fixed Income Securities.
