Faculty Position in International Business

Position Overview
Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI), Morocco, invites applications for a full-time faculty role in International Business. The appointment begins Spring 2026 within the School of Business Administration (SBA). The position is open at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, depending on qualifications.

We seek a candidate who can teach a broad range of undergraduate and graduate finance and international business courses. This is a chance to join a growing, English-language university with global accreditation and strong ties to the liberal arts tradition.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in International Business and Finance.
• Conduct and publish impactful academic research.
• Contribute to student mentoring and advising.
• Support service activities in the School and across the University.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in International Business from an accredited institution.
• A record (or strong potential) of peer-reviewed publications.
• Commitment to high-quality teaching and student learning.
• Willingness to engage in academic service and community life.

About the Institution
Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane is a NECHE-accredited, English-language liberal arts university—the only one of its kind in Morocco and among the very few in Africa with U.S. accreditation. The School of Business Administration holds EFMD accreditation and is actively pursuing AACSB accreditation.

Located 45 minutes from Fez and Meknes, AUI offers a unique blend of American-style higher education in Morocco with a focus on international quality, diversity, and community. The University is in a period of growth, with a strategic plan to double student enrollment to 5,000 while enhancing academic quality.
