Director of Entrepreneurship Education (China)

About the Role
Are you ready to lead the future of entrepreneurship education?
Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is hiring a Director of Entrepreneurship Education for its new Entrepreneur College in Taicang.

You will guide how students learn to build ideas, launch ventures, and work with industry. You will lead programs, research, and partnerships across the campus.

You will also join the campus leadership team and help shape strategy.

About XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang)
XJTLU is a unique international university in China. It works with global partners and industry leaders.

The Taicang campus focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and applied learning.
It uses a new model called Syntegrative Education. This model blends:

• Academic study
• Industry practice
• Real-world projects

The Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Hub (EEH) drives this vision. It connects teaching, research, and business.

What You Will Do
You will lead and grow entrepreneurship education across the campus.

Key duties include:

• Lead all entrepreneurship education programs (UG, PG, and research)
• Build and deliver a clear strategy for curriculum and learning
• Develop new academic programs and courses
• Support research in entrepreneurship and innovation
• Work with industry partners to grow business links
• Create systems, policies, and processes for the department
• Advise senior leaders on strategy and growth
• Build strong links across schools and departments
• Represent the university in external events and meetings
• Lead and support your team to succeed

What You Bring

Required:

• PhD in entrepreneurship or a related field
• Strong experience in teaching and research leadership
• Proven success in curriculum design and program delivery
• Experience building and leading teams
• Ability to plan strategy and manage change
• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred:

• Experience in entrepreneurship education
• Strong links with industry or startups
• Ability to speak Modern Standard Chinese
